Mix and match your favourite ingredients in this Middle Eastern-inspired fruit salad recipe. Blood oranges – in season between January and March – would work particularly well, but you can easily use ripe peaches, nectarines or apricots instead. Sesame-based tahini creates a satisfyingly tangy dressing that complements the natural sweetness of the fruit.

Ingredients
- 1 orange, segmented, plus 2tbsp of freshly squeezed juice for the dressing
- 4 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 blush pear, sliced
- ½ pomegranate
Method
Step 1
First make the dressing by mixing together 2tbsp orange juice with the tahini, honey and cinnamon in a bowl.
Step 2
Chop and arrange your chosen fruit in a bowl, drizzle the dressing on top and serve.
