Smoking has long been used as means of preserving fish, and the craft of smoking is one which has been passed down through generations at our Scottish Smokehouses. It takes time, experience and the finest ingredients to make our Smoked Salmon. Each side is traditionally cured with salt for up to 26 hours, before being smoked over Oak and Beech woods for up to 13 hours to develop a wonderful smoky flavour. Once smoked, the Salmon is left to further mature before being hand trimmed and sliced.

Preparation and Usage
Open the pack and separate the slices 10 minutes prior to eating to allow the salmon to reach room temperature. This will help restore the smoked salmon to its full flavour.

Storage:
Keep refrigerated below 5°C. This product has been previously frozen and defrosted under controlled conditions to maintain suitability for home freezing. Freeze on day of purchase and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly before use and consume within 24 hours. Once thawed do not re-freeze.

Awful
These are not slices, they are scraps
Peculiar
Do not buy.

Dire. Not slices of smoked salmon, but off cuts compressed into what I think were supposed to be sheets, but was in fact a messy agglomerate that fell apart and congealed together in a random fashion. We did use some of it. Taste was OK. But overall: dire.
Poor Quality
I don't usually give bad reviews but this warrants it. Salmon was strange consistency and broke into pieces when I tried to separate the slices (which wouldn't separate). Ended up with messy ragged pieces, abandoned the dish I was going to do and used it later for salmon & scrambled eggs. Then, like previous comments, it was too salty. Definitely would not buy again.
Worst Salmon Ive ever had
This salmon is awful. Its a weird colour, it smells weird, it tastes awful, its too salty. Do not buy it.
Unacceptable quality
This is the poorest quality smoked salmon I have ever bought. Sold as smoked salmon slices but in reality is trimmings. Impossible to use to make smoked salmon on brown bread for a funeral wake. Very disappointing & a waste of £14.
