Not good
I noticed that the tea is very finely divided and has almost no smell at all. No surprisingly, it didn't make a good brew.
Just so bitter
Bought this as my usual loose tea has sky rocketed in price. I'd heard this was a good alternative. I really didn't like it. It's very fine compared to my usual tea, almost like dust, and no matter the temperature of the water, brewing time or amount used, I just couldn't get a cup of tea that wasn't super bitter. I've been unable to get even half way through a cup before tipping it away. And usually, with a good quality tea, you can get 3 or 4 steeps that get sweeter with each one, but this just got more bitter when trying to do a second steep. If you're used to cheap tea then you may find it okay, but for me it's a never buy again.
Better than tea bags
Less packaging, tastes better and works out cheaper than the tea bags.
Quality Changed
Yorkshire used to be my favourite tea. Back in 2018 I found it to be not so good. Sorry to say that in my opinion the quality of this tea has decreased further. Looking for something else for my go to daily tea drink.
Weird, fine powder
This is a slight disappointment after their teabags, an odd, fine powder and not as tasty as others.
A bitter powder
Im trying the range of loose breakfast teas in Ocado and this has been my least favourite despite coming back to it a few times to try again. Its a very fine powder and we found it very strong which isnt normally a problem but it was just too bitter for us and not a smooth tea at all
