Filthy
LOADS of black droplets/bits of dirt within these onions, they were washed thoroughly but the muck remained. Chucked straight in the bin.

Best spring onions
Bought these as my usual onions were out of stock and so pleased I did. Much larger than the 60p onions and kept fresh. Clean and fresh so just needed washing.

Filthy, old and under advertised weight
Used to love these spring onions but in the past few months the quality has fallen below par. My most recent purchase had 6 skinny specimens that were ageing - the central core wad poking out the bottom of the stems. There was a huge amount of mud in the top 'tubes' - to the point where there were only 50% usable. But most concerning was the whole pack, wrapping and all, was under the advertised 125g weight. I only thought to weigh the pack because it felt so light and the onions were so thin and OK it was only under by 5g but that's not the point. I'm sure there'll be some excuse like 'they lose weight with time'. No excuse - sell onions which aren't old and wilted. Very disappointed

Good - and last!
I have bought these for the last few weeks, as they were on offer, and I have to say they have been consistently good and have lasted longer than the loose variety!

These onions tasted nice and were crunchy, they lasted well too.
