Vitabiotics Pregnacare Plus Brain & Eye Omega-3 DHA Tablets 56 per pack
Product information
Pregnacare® Plus combines the original Pregnacare® tablet formula, the leading supplement in pregnancy care, with high quality Omega-3 (DHA 300mg) capsules, in a convenient 2-in-1 pack, for use throughout pregnancy.
Pregnacare® multi-nutrient tablets
Each tablet provides a wide range of essential vitamins and minerals including the exact recommended levels of 400µg folic acid and 10µg vitamin D.
Supplemental folic acid 2 intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
Moderate iron and vitamins B6 and B12 which contribute to normal red blood cell formation.
Nutritional tablets produced in Britain to high GMP 3 quality.
High purity Omega-3 capsules
Research increasingly shows the importance of Essential Fatty Acids such as DHA in the development of babies and infants.
Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal development of the eye & brain of the foetus1.
Each capsule provides 300mg DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid), a level recommended by many international experts 4 (ISSFAL).
Fish oil produced to high GMP 3 quality.
Pregnacare® Tablets - daily support without excessive levels
Because Pregnacare® has been specially formulated by experts for pregnancy, it contains certain nutrients at levels above the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV). All ingredient amounts are within safe levels for pregnancy.
This comprehensive formula replaces other Pregnacare® supplements and multivitamins.
There is no need for an additional multivitamin.
The UK Department of Health recommends all pregnant and breastfeeding women should take a daily supplement containing 10µg of Vitamin D.
Pregnacare® does not contain vitamin A, as high levels are not advised in pregnancy.
Slow disperse tablets - gentle on the stomach.
Plus Omega-3 DHA Capsules
Pure Fish oil produced in Norway to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) quality standards.
Produced from a source of fish oil that is free from vitamin A.

Unbelievable
I ordered it couple of times but always the missing product on the day of arrival!! Show out of stock if its out!
Very disappointed!!!!
severe heartburn, stomach pain and felt very sick...had to stop them straight away!!!!!
Poor Quality Ingredients
Synthetic Folic Acid, B6 and B12 are the least absorbable types. It also contains talc. Old fashioned. Research your ingredients. I think Vitabiotics can improve on this.
great as you're trying to conceive
Contains all the vitamins recommended if you're trying conceive (according to the books). Only other supplement I take is osteocare (2 a day for calcium). I really like the labels for the dates- makes it a lot easier to remember to take them and keep track.
Liked it
I hadstomach pain when I took the tablets according to the pack instructions -with a main meal-, so I tried taking them about half an hour after my dinner. They made me feel more energised and I think the iron kicked in because I was less scatty! My little boy is quite bright for his age according to his nursery carers and my own observations so i'd like to think the Omega-3 helped.
