not for me
It did not remove any of the stains i tried it on.
Super Duper!
I was sent this as a freebie to review. We've always used Vanish powder in our wash and sometimes for a soak but never tried the Gel as we thought it unnecessary if we use the powder, our philosophy being 'if it ain't broke, no need to fix it.' But this is just as good, if not better, as it can easily be applied directly onto a stubborn stain unlike the powder which just sits on top of the fabric. Tried it on a blood stain - GONE! It's in our stain fighting arsenal for good!
Really works.
I tried this out on a few of my husband baseball caps. They get sweat stains on the front .I soaked the stains in the gell and left for an hour. Then put them in a cold wash.Wow ,stains gone and no loss of colour. Excellent stain remover.!
I was a non believer!
I received Vanish Gold Oxi Action to review and I must admit as a long time user of another leading brand with 'tailored' stain removing products I didn't expect to be impressed so I popped it in the cupboard to await a stain - which doesn't ever take long in our house as I am always 'missing my mouth' My trial stain was a large fat stain from the clotted cream that I accidentally dropped down the front of an orange jersey dress. I took it off straight away, treated it with my 'tailored' stain remover for grease oil and fat, popped it into my machine, with an in wash stain removing sachet from my favourite brand. Washed it,, dried it and thinking no more about it added it to the ironing pile. 5am Sunday morning ironing day arrived, dress on the ironing board - what! The large stain was still there. So I trotted out to the kitchen, retrieved the Vanish Gold, liberally (perhaps too liberally - read on) applied it to the stain, added a bit to my detergent and put the it in the washing machine. I dried it and then checked - no stain!! I am amazed and even more amazed at the price it works out so much cheaper than my 'tailored' products and in-wash stain sachets. So why did I say I applied it much too liberally - because mid-way through the wash I had bubbles coming out of the detergent drawer and all over the floor. I have used it as an in-wash stain remover in every was since. If I had one criticism it is the how hard it is to read the instructions even with glasses and normal daylight I struggled.
Not sure....
I got this free to review. My husband spilt a few drops of sauce on his top which contained turmeric so i quickly dabbed some on neat and left for a few minutes but when i went back itv had spread the stain! Probably my fault for how i used it
Not as expected
Sent this free for review but not as impressive as I expected from other reviews. I gave it lots of opportunities and used in a number of washes but the results were no better than my normal, cheep, vinegar spray which is just a quick spray before the wash and has no residual smell after.
