Store in a dry place and keep at room temperature.

Preparation and Usage

Perfect every time...
1. Boil Water
Boil a large amount of water in a saucepan.
2. Add Rice
Add rice, reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes.
3. Drain
Drain well. Serve and enjoy!
Bring 1.5 cups of water to the boil. Add 1 cup of rice and stir.
Reduce heat and simmer covered until all water is absorbed. Serve and enjoy!

Instructions

Hob - From Ambient. Cooking method 1:
1. Bring a large amount of water to the boil.
2. Pour in the rice and add salt if desired.
3. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
4. Drain well
5. Serve and enjoy!

Cooking method 2:
1. Bring volume of rice with 1.5 volumes of water to the boil and add salt if desired.
2. Cover the pan and cook gently on low heat until water is absorbed (around 10 mins.)
3. Serve and enjoy!

Perfect each time

We rinse this before boiling then cook for 10 mins as per the instructions and it turns out perfectly each time. Usually wholegrain rice takes nearly half an hour so this is great! Our go-to rice now.

Best Wholegrain rice ever

Uncle Ben's rice was a staple in my family, growing up. However, I have found it quite pricey. Recently, Ocado ran out of M&S wholegrain rice and I tried Ben's wholegrain rice as a substitute. Was I in for a treat? I had forgotten how fluffy Ben's rice is and the healthy wholegrain rice was a plus. It "does what it says on the tin" and cooks in exactly 10 minutes unlike other wholegrain rice which cook in about 20-25 minutes. I enjoyed it so much and so look forward to buying it again (at a reduced price)! Highly recommended!

the best brown rice

This brown rice is lovely and nutty and its not over pre-cooked Id rather cook my rice instead of heat up precooked rice. Ive been using this product by uncle Ben for nearly 20 years I think and I love it I would definitely recommend it

Lovely rice

Tried this rice as a healthier option, absolutely love it and don't think I will eat White rice again.

Worst substitution ever...

We normally get the cheap whole grain Waitrose rice but ended up with this as a substitute one week... thrilled that it takes 10mins to cook instead of the usual 25, I dished this up with gusto. No idea what this is but I dont think its rice, watery and with no texture it tasted like reconstituted rice based on the essence of what rice might taste like to someone who had never eaten rice. On the plus side, it does cook quickly.

Lovely Rice!

I've had this rice for some many years now, it really is lovely. A more filling and healthier alternative to white rice. It cooks in 10 mins after a gentle simmer, perfect every time :)
