Brilliant
These is great! I love how convenient and eas y it is. I can't seem to boil rice and this is perfect. Just boil for 15 minutes and you have perfectly boiled rice
Maggots/Moths found inside new unopened boxes
To my horror I open a box of Tilda brown rice bags to discover small worms crawling around inside the box. I received four boxes in my Ocado delivery that morning and the horror continued when I opened each box. One had a little moth in it. I contacted Ocado straight away and recommended they remove other packs from their shelves. I have not heard back from Ocado so I have no idea if they have done this.
lovely rice but why the caterpillars??
These are seriously delicious rice, but I have bought them twice now, and now I find myself debating whether I will continue to do so. Truly lovely rice, however both times I have found caterpillars in the packets!?!? Even worse is they look like grains of rice, only distinguished by the little black heads and ends, and that they wriggle. With two out of two packs ever bought I think I have established a pattern. I would stay well clear unless you dont mind the extra protein.
We don't use any other rice
So convenient! No washing the rice first and it ends up well. Shame about the plastic bag. Here's hoping they'll be able to change it to something more sustainable.
Always works
Tastes great, easy to cook. Works every time. Highly recommended
Not as easy as microwavable but
---a much better taste. Nice and nutty, individual wholegrains. Plenty for 2 people. Takes a little while to cook and you do need to add a bit of salt to the cooking water - I also add a dash of turmeric for colour and taste. Best wholegrain rice I've purchased.
