too watery too bland
disappointing taste. it is mostly water and oil but lacks seasonings
Not for us
A high priced sauce that did not delivery. The Spice Tailor Rogan Josh kit is so much better.
Delightful!
I just used this to make myself a 'muttony' Rogan Josh (with vegan muttony pieces), and it was the best of any kind of curry I've ever had! Absolutely delightful!
They changed it
This used to be the best sauce. I could throw some lamb and this in the crockpot and get a fabulous curry for dinner. The last pot I had smelled so weird. I do not know what they have changed but something has and it was not nice at all. Not worth £4.75. They used to be £3 not long ago. Don't waste your money.
delicious
I've been searching for the best curry sauce for decades and I've finally found it. this is THE best, restaurant quality sauce. Compared to other supermarket sauces I would say it's closer to a medium than a mild so bare that in mind if you've got small children there's definitely a bit of spice in it.
Definitely a cut above the rest
These sauces really are restaurant quality as their packaging states. Cooked some aubergines and mushrooms and added them to this Rogan Josh sauce, and quite frankly it gave our local restaurant a run for its money. Lots of other ready-made curry sauces I've tried seem to have a kind of vinegary back taste, but this sauce most definitely does not. It was nicely spiced, with just the right amount of heat, and a reassuring presence of what looked like ghee. Now to try all of the others!
