Madras Sauce\-Not restaurant Quality
Looked quite promising and a good level of heat but far too heavy on the tomato flavour and could not really pick out any other spices apart from the heat from chilli. Tasted like a hot tomato sauce rather than a proper Madras. Much better sauces out there at a lower price.
Awesome
Its truly awesome this curry sauce, the madras is very hot but I love it.
A very good
Have had 3 of these sauces and this by far the best. Very tasty and good heat. The Ocardo delivery driver said how good it smelled
Great sauce. Spicy. Vinegary like Vindaloo though.
Took a punt with this as I love making my own curries but having a period of not wanting to spend an hour cooking before eating and thought the reviews for this looked good. It was lip smackingly delicious, quite vinegary but I like that. It was so good, I’m trying the jalfrezi next week!
excellent sauce
A very good curry sauce - just add chicken and be transported back to the 1960s and your first restaurant curry. Very tasty, with the right flavour and texture.
Tasted like madras paste very greasy
Couldn’t even eat this to greasy and tasted like uncooked curry paste although was cooked for a good amount of time for a ready sauce.
