HOW WE BAKE
Unlike many other supermarket sourdoughs, we never bake with additives or commercial yeast.
We choose diverse heritage grains, maintain our starters with care and follow an expertly baker-led fermentation process to unlock the full potential of every loaf. Baked fresh every day.
HOW IT TASTES
Baked with a nutritious blend of wholemeal barley, spelt and emmer flours for a deep, wholesome flavour in a tacky, chewy crumb.
Shaped and sliced for the everyday. Ideal for sandwiches, toast, toasties and more.

As we only use a handful of natural ingredients, our bread is best enjoyed fresh for the first few days, and then as toast for a few more. If freezing, freeze immediately after purchase. For best before, see bag tie.
Brand
We set out to bring better bread to every table. By reshaping and slicing our sourdough loaves, we're making them easier to enjoy every day.
We bake our sourdough with heritage grains like emmer, barley & spelt - each chosen for their depth of flavour and nutrition. Never with any artificial preservatives or added sugars.
For us it's not only about fermentation time and starter age. Crafting the best sourdough requires a caring human working with nature, instinct and decades of training.
The bread tells us when it's ready but only a chosen few bakers listen and understand.
This is bread, made better.

nice toasted
This loaf tastes so nice toasted. However it does make nice sandwiches but find it a little dense. But I'll still buy it.
Delicious
Makes great toast
proper bread
Good quality bread, made with a hand full of ingredients, how bread should be. brilliant for toasts and toasties not necessarily for sandwiches
Hard
It was hard when I squeeze the loaf, a sign to me that the bread is not fresh at all, even though it was expiring in 2days time. When I open the loaf, notice a smell, must be due to fermentation of the yeast. Gave it to the birds. Hopefully this is just my one that is bad and not a whole load of batch from the company.
too dry
The flavour was fine but it was just too dry in texture. Not enjoyable.
Great sourdough
Perfect toasted with lots of butter.wouldnt do anything else other than toast it. Great sourdough tang. Ordered 2 in a flash sale, both now residing in the freezer, but they wont last long knowing my family!
