Starchy
I cooked these following the instructions exactly but they were incredibly starchy and tasted horrible, soapy, like the previous reviewer said. I repeatedly washed them under cold water when cooked but they were still hard, and the starch, or whatever it was, wouldn’t stop coming out. I threw the rest of the packet away.
gelatinous
I dont know if it is how I cooked them-I did follow the instructions but I found these noodles to be gelatinous and they had a strange soapy flavour. Not for me, there are better products out there.
Taste like soap
Don't know why but they tasted like soap. Used a different pan and the same taste.
Great rice noodles!
They took longer to cook than I imagined they would. I soaked in cold water whilst prepping then in boiled water and they were still quite hard when added to wok for pad thai so needed to add extra water and cook longer but they were strong and didn't break up and leftovers next day still delicious and not mushy!
Ok
Bought in the promo to try. Tasted allright. For us, these are better used cold in a salad. I still prefer the rice vermicelli.
Yum!
Reliable and delicious. Always prefer rice noodles to egg, these are great
