good enough base if you add flavourings to taste
No need to use sachets 1 and two as the dried garlic and onion they contain have a strong, off-putting smell. But it's easy enough to make your own marinade from garlic and ginger, then fry some onions with vegetables of you choice. Finally, you'll need to add extra peanut butter to the Street Kitchen sauce, especially if you like it crunchy. So, if it's on offer and you're prepared to do some extra cooking, it's not a bad choice. Less sugar than the other brands, which was a selling point for me.
a little too sweet
Was looking forward to trying this and it was ok quite tasty but rather too sweet, as mentioned in other reviews. Wouldnt get it again.
Very sweet
Ended up picking out chicke and throwing rice and sauce out. Not for me
it was ok
it wasn't too bad, but didn't taste very nutty so I had to add more peanuts which improved it
Yum
This is almost a fruity, tangy satay sauce which I liked. Found it a bit thick so added more water and a splash of coconut milk. Served with egg noodles and a scattering of crushed peanuts on top. Great dinner.
A bit sweet
This was OK for a quick and easy midweek meal and I will order again when I have some chicken breasts to use up. . I served with Jasmine rice and a tangy cucumber salad. I would have liked it to be less sweet [can correct with a squeeze of lime} and to have some crunch in peanut sauce.
