lacked flavour

Bought this on the basis of the reviews but it wasn't a patch on the other options available - runny and really lacking in punch. A hoi sin sauce for people who don't like hoi sin sauce.

Too runny

In our house Hoisin Sauce has the important job of seasoning crispy duck pancakes and this sauce is just too runny. It leaks everywhere and doesn't taste as nice as the two offerings from Blue Dragon anyway. Binned it.

the best hoisin

Tried for the first time with home made crispy duck and pancakes- its a delicious sauce, nice consistency and not overly salted as some tend to be. All my guests commented on how good it was. Got another in my trolley already!

Amazing hoisin sauce

We loved this sauce and highly recommend. Made homemade duck with pancakes and this hoisin sauce was superb!

This sauce will not hang around in your fridge

It's so delicious you're going to use any excuse to pair this with anything: Stir fries, roast chicken, sausages, sandwiches (in place of chutney or relish), in place of BBQ or brown sauce. It really is as good as they say.
