Lovely! Been eating it for over 40 years
Just discovered that this product was started by John Sorenson in 1939, so obviously that is where the name comes from. I've loved this for at least 40 years. My children have enjoyed it from when they were babies, and my grandchildren too. Was pleased when they brought out a sliced version, but it is very difficult to separate the slices and you end up having to prise the slices apart, or partially cutting between the slices and it can get messy, but I still find it easier than having to cut it yourself. Having groceries delivered can mean it gets a bit squashed by other items, which doesn't help.
sliced chipboard
What a disappointment, tough, dry, stale tasting. No visible fruit. Dont waste your money!
very moreish
Malt loaf is less fattening than cake and deliciously moreish. Definitely worth keeping one in reserve
Nice
Would buy again, yummy
Afternoon treat
Great with a cup of tea as an afternoon treat
would it kill you
...to slice it all the way through, Soreen? I know it's harder to slice than jelly, but it's hardly worth buying the sliced version when they're still conjoined. Tastes yummy tho!
