Tasting Notes
Attractive ruby red flecked with hints of cherry. Opens on fruit fragrances of morello cherries accompanied by a hint of alcohol warmth. The palate echoes the freshness and aromatic array of the nose, underpinned by enough tannic and complex structure.
History
Between Radda and Gaiole in Chianti lies the large Vistarenni estate, overlooked - as if in some charming painting of the past - by its splendid 18th century Villa. At Vistarenni, the land is cultivated with old-fashioned respect and the grapes are carefully selected and harvested so as to highlight the differences in soils and microclimates between the various vineyards.
Regional Information
The Chianti that comes from this area is a wine with ancient origins. Vines have in fact been grown and wine has been produced on this land ever since the time of the Etruscans, because the rich composition of the soil, the altitude and the exposure of the vineyards are conducive to the practice of high-quality viticulture. It is a small zone in which the particular pedoclimatic conditions are highly favorable for the production of Chianti.

Vinification Details
Vinification is in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 26 - 28°C with skin contact for one week. During alcoholic fermentation, the wine is briefly pumped over the cap several times a day to encourage the transfer of colour and aroma compounds from the skins. Malolactic fermentation follows immediately. The wine then matures in oak containers for about a year.

very acid
this vine is unfortunately quite acid, considering the price I was expecting a much better quality. Not going to buy this again even with discounted price
