Preparation and Usage
Recipes
Easy Recipe, Serves 6
Ingredients:
300g puff pastry (ready rolled)
6 x ripe and fresh figs, cut into 8th's
200g goat's cheese, cut into 6 pieces
Olive oil for brushing
6 tsp Rowse Greek Honey
Method:
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan / gas 6 / 400°F. Roll your pastry, (if you are rolling yourself, roll until about 5mm thin) and cut into 6 rectangle shapes. On each rectangle get a sharp knife and draw a smaller rectangle on the inside, as if you are making a frame. This helps the pastry puff up and makes a border for your tarts.
Brush each piece of pastry with olive oil and sprinkle a little salt over each one. Pop a few chunks of goat's cheese in each tart on the inside of the border you made, followed by your fig pieces.
Brush a little olive oil over the figs followed by a good drizzle (about 1tsp) of honey.
Place in your preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the pastry is golden and crisp around the edges, the cheese is melted and the figs have caramelised.
So easy and so good!

Brand
In 1938, our founder Tony Rowse started beekeeping in a small shed in Ewelme, Oxfordshire as a hobby and he loved it so much he formed the Rowse Honey company. Before long, Tony was sourcing honey from beekeepers all over the UK, then from all over the world. In the 1980s, we had grown so big we moved to Wallingford, Oxfordshire (close to Ewelme) and Tony handed over the reins to his son Richard. Years later, we are very proud to be the nation's favourite honey!

love this honey
Family favourite. Lovely flavour
My favourite honey at the moment
We go to Greece a lot & always love the honey there so thought Id try this. Its definitely got much more flavour than the usual stuff I buy here. A drizzle on my bowl of fruit & yogurt in the morning - yum yum. Hubby still prefers other lighter colour/fragranced honey so its not for everyone.
Disgusting Taste
I used to buy this because the kids liked it with their yogurt but it now tastes awful- a horrid burnt plastic taste- am so upset my kids have eaten this. What the heck goes into this ?
Chemical taste
Reasonably pleasant initial taste followed by a strong chemical aftertaste. I have been struggling to find a decent squeezable honey that has a real honey taste. I think I just might go back to golden syrup, at least you know what you are getting.
quite nice
I enjoy this on my Greek yoghurt, not as good as actual Greek honey but good enough for me
detergent
Strange horrible taste of detergent
