Great taste but terrible value
There's no denying that this is utterly and completely delicious and really nicely balanced. Its somehow not too sweet and has a real depth of flavour. However its also quite absurdly poor value. I actually laughed when I unpacked it, the jar is so small. Its like one of those mini "courtesy" jars of individual-portion jam that you get in hotels and B&Bs that have just enough to cover a single slice of toast. I think the problem is the company is a "gift" company so this is "hamper value", where you pay £8 for a pack of cheese biscuits that is £2 in your local supermarket...
Delicious
One of the tastiest glazes I've come across. Absolutely perfect for gammon & can't wait to try it on pork chops too. Will definitely become a cupboard staple!
Delicious
We buy this almost every week to rub on top of a gammon joint. Its absolutely delicious. Packed full of flavour. I dont have time to make my own rub so this is perfect for a 1.2kg-1.8kg size gammon.
Nice and Easy to use
Easy and tasty but a bit on the sweet side. I added a bit of mustard to tone down.
Excellent
I tried this at New Year. I usually bake my ham and then make my own glaze but this was so easy and really tasty. It's also cost efficient as to buy all the separate components isn't cheap and spices have a short shelf life . A great thing to have in the pantry.
given to review
This was easy to use on our Boxing Day gammon. The family agreed it was ok but they would just as soon have their gammon plain.
