Preparation and Usage
Filter Machine & Filter Cones
- Check you have the correct size filter paper for your filter machine or filter cone.
- Fold over the seamed edges of the filter paper and place in the filter cone.
- Measure the coffee into the filter paper, start with 60g of coffee for every 1 litre of water used (adjust + 10g according to taste) or 1 rounded dessertspoon per cup. For more details, refer to your machine manufacturer's instructions.
+ For Filter Machine: Fill your machine with the required amount of fresh, filtered water, switch on and wait for your coffee to brew.
+ For Filter Cones: Moisten the coffee with a little water just off the boil, then slowly pour on the required amount of water. Allow the coffee to filter through and remove the filter cone.
Coffee Tips:
Use fresh, ground coffee or freshly ground beans. Use fresh, filtered water in your filter machine or kettle. Rinse your filter paper to remove any papery tastes. Once brewed, enjoy within 30 minutes.

rubbish
Breaks every time Im removing it from the filter, causing a mess. Complete rubbish. Will go back to buying Melitta filters instead.
Really awful
Breaks every single time, really rubbish.
Excellent Filters \- ignore the negative comments
I have used these for several years and NEVER had any problems (no splitting etc.). Other makes certainly are thinner and can split. To the person with the V60, I would say there are other sizes (102 for example from Melita) which may fit his apparatus better - in my earlier coffee making days I had similar issues.
Avoid if using with V60.
Not suited to V60 02 dripper use despite the implication they are. Paper shape & design does not fit the cone and so are tricky to use . Id suggest theyre too small but also I think the shape is just wrong. Redesign needed.
does the job
Been using these filters for a long time and never had a problem
Not good
Break often or get clogged.
