To my mind carnaroli is the nicest risotto rice, and this is by far the best make. Highly recommended.

Perfect Risotto

As an incompetent cook that ought to take out insurance before serving up and who has made many a dire risotto before, this rice and Delia's recipe for baked risotto Carbonara made restaurant, a good restaurant, quality risotto. Superb. Very creamy, very delicious, I was actually asked if I had made it myself from scratch, suspiciously good, someone else had to have had a hand in it, it was concluded.
