"If you’re still putting on your foundation with your fingers, may I suggest you desist at once and make friends with this foundation blender, which I use as a brush to apply the foundation – dotting it lightly on my face first – as well as a blender. Not only will your foundation go so much further, you will achieve a seamless but light coverage (which you can build up as and where needed) that leaves your face looking so much fresher and more natural. Its tapered oval shape makes it especially good with dealing with that pesky under-eye area, and its compact size means it can pop into a make-up bag easily. It’s an essential piece of kit, as far as I’m concerned." Nigella Lawson

Brilliant

So glad I got this, it gives a really good finish and I don’t need to use so much product. I dab the foundation on my face then stipple and blend with the brush. It saves me time as it’s so quick to use and I don’t have to scrub foundation off my hands after. I use it now with my concealer around my eyes as I do my foundation as it’s so soft it’s actually better than my much more expensive concealer brush.

Fabulous.

I bought this little brush for my new liquid Bare Minerals foundation. To begin with I wasn't very impressed as it seemed to put the foundation on and then take it off again! I decided to look at the Real Technique demo on Youtube and saw that the brush technique to use isn't the same as a kabuki. I was doing too much 'swirling'. I tried the brush again the next day with more of a blending (as its name suggests) and painting motion - and wow! I'm very impressed now. My foundation goes on beautifully with that lovely airbrushed finish.
