Brand
From a traditional family of wine-makers from Beaujolais. Thanks to the work of an entire generation, the family bought a 10-hectares estate in Fleurie in 1904: the Château de l’Abbaye de Saint Laurent d’Arpayé.
The family then opened a boutique in Vincennes, selling superior quality wines coming mainly from the Beaujolais region.
Since then, the family never ceased to improve its traditional wine-making know-how and is now offering wines with a unique character.

Gamay bruiser
I like Gamay when it's a light red, but found this to be too solid. If I'd have known it was 14% ABV I'd have probably guessed it wasn't my kind of wine.
Very good
A good quality Brouilly at a good price
We asked for a refund
Sadly we found this undrinkable and left most of it. We are asking for a refund as something seems to have gone wrong.
Excellent and consistent wine
Extremely good, have never been disappointed.
Feel ripped off
Not sure if we had a different vintage to the positive reviews but I truly wouldn’t pay a fiver for this wine, let alone £12. Utterly bland, no legs. We didn’t even bother to finish the bottle which is frankly saying something in our house ;0)
Excellent example of good Brouilly
Bought at £8.61, and would buy again at this but not at £11.49. Vintage tasted 2018. I'm not generally a Beaujolais or gamay fan but this is a very nice specimen: deep colour and aroma, good flavour, decent body and legs, no excessive iron taste that some have. Perhaps a bit more muscular than one would expect from Brouilly but nicely smooth, balanced and savoury. A delight. Went a treat with calves liver.
