Love this
A great source of protein and contains no harmful wheat. Great with veggies. Also like the lentil version too. I mix it with a dessert spoon of creamy coconut yoghurt and add spices, delicious.
inedible
I love the red lentil pasta from a different brand, but this is horrible. Soggy, taste is impossible to describe. Just awful
Disgusting
the worst taste I've ever experienced. Can't describe it other than that. It's absolutely awful
Disgusting slimy mess
This is completely inedible and I had to throw the whole packet away. Perhaps I've missed something with cooking instructions, but they certainly weren't obvious when I looked on the box. Cooked like normal penne pasta, half of this sticks to the bottom of the pan while the rest leaves a disgusting glutinous mess a bit like melted mushy peas. What few pasta-shaped pieces are left have a horrible texture as well, and fall apart. If you are tempted to buy, definitely don't treat it like normal pasta or it will be inedible. Good luck finding a way to make it palatable!
Has changed - quality not as good as it used to be
Since they changed their packaging (and removed the plastic window), for some reason they also changed the texture of the pasta (applies to the green pea and the red lentil pasta). They used to be great (lovely texture, delicious, held together well). Now they turn to mush, don't taste as good and have an unpleasant texture. I won't be buying any of their pastas again unless they change them back to their original texture and flavour. The new packaging is also difficult to open since they no longer have a pull strip.
I like it
As a coeliac I am glad of this pastathe white gluten free pastas are tasteless and disintegrate so easilyhowever I am going to try the other types of pea pastas suggested by other reviewers
