dog spat them out!
I thought these would make a healthy treat for my greedy olde English bulldog who is constantly scavenging and eats anything. How wrong could I be? He was so excited to get a treat but spat it out immediately. I tried several times to get him to take it but each time he got it in his mouth he spat it out. He has never, ever refused anything before. My son took him for a walk and got the same reaction. I've had to bin the entire packet.
Only treats the dog will eat
Bought these for the MIL's dog. Apparently he hates treats, but wolfed these down. (pun intended).
Fishy treat for your best friend
bag a bit awkward to open but overall product very good
Fishy breath, but happy dogs!
The dogs can't get enough of these. Dogs with a weak bite can chew on them for quite a while. Can be a bit messy.
My dog did not like them
Unfortunately my dog did not like them. She eat one and then would not touch the rest. They may be very nice but my dog did not think so, but she is quite choosey what treats she will eat.
Not for fussy dogs, but loved by the rest
I tried these on a visiting dog and they seemed to go down very well - they smell very fishy and make a real crunching mess, but luckily dogs are good at thoroughly cleaning up food they like! My Nan's dog, who is renowned for being fussy with her food, sadly wouldn't touch them, so my Nan passed them on to a neighbour's dog who wolfed them down. So provided your dog is ok with fish, not fussy, and with a good set of teeth, I suspect these will be well received.
