Ruined Easter dinner.
Didn't want to buy a whole leg of lamb for just two of us, so opted for this half leg. Despite slow roasting and leaving to rest after cooking, the meat was tough, gristly and totally lacked flavour. Worst lamb we've ever had for Easter.
Tough, tasteless bad meat
Cooked for way less than the stated time and it was extremely chewy and tough. Taste was not good at all.
looked nothing like the photo and had not taste
The piece of meat I received looked nothing like the photograph. There was hardly a bone in it and it looked more like a fat sausage. The meat (what there was of it) had no taste when it was cooked. This was not a half leg of lamb of any quality. I will not be purchasing again especially at £15 a pop.
Revolying
I roasted it but the flavour was off so I curried it the next day. Still horrible. It's going in the bin. What is this? It's not normal lamb.
was very disappointed
shrunk a lot when cooking and then it was very fatty and grisly. the children struggled to eat it.
very disappointing
This was substituted for my preferred joint, which I had ordered for dinner on New Years Day. Despite resting it for longer than recommended it was tough and gristly and, even if it hadnt been, there wasnt enough on the joint to make it an adequate substitution. We ended up leaving the meat and just eating the trimmings so no really a very happy new year meal for us, sadly.
