Never Hand Prepared!
These kippers are dreadful, not only do they lack any taste, they contain far too many bones to make the fillet edible. (hand prepared?) And what is it with this adding paprika to the kipper, kippers that are correctly smoked do not require added colour!
Best kippers my husband has ever tasted
My husband is a great lover of kippers and over the years eaten a lot. He said these are the best kippers he has ever tasted. Perfectly lightly smoked, great texture. Absolutely perfect he said.
full of bones
The number of bones in these fish made them quite inedible for me and they went in the bin. Never again!
Hmmm\- too many bones
Like other reviews have said, these were incredibly bony. Can stand the smell for a lovely kipper but not for a mass of bones
Bones and bones
Imbossible tonremove the bones unless you want to spend 30 mins with one fillet. Ended up throwing in the bin. Each fillet was full of bones that were not small enough to be eaten.
Tasty
These are the tastiest kipper fillets I have had in a good while.very meaty, full flavoured and easy to cook.in microwave, covered for 3 minsperfect for an easy meal.
