not British
I bought these after finding them in the Buy Britishsection - when received country of origin is France - not happy
Poor quality
Buy these regularly as I prefer the taste to other apples. However my latest batch were bruised and one apple had been eaten by an insect. When these were from France they arrived in perfect condition. I buy British when possible but where are our producers going wrong?
👍🏻
Ocado has 2 types of apples that I've been wanting to compare... I would say this one is has a more sour taste and is bigger compared to the royal apple. Personally, I prefer the other one more as its sweeter.
Damaged
All were damaged. No good getting a refund really as I still gave to go out and buy more so I'll be getting these in person from now on.
bruised
These Braeburn apples were poor quality - they were all bruised so that it was necessary to cut away a great deal before eating.
Probably not getting them delivered...
Unfortunately, every apple in the bag arrived with some level of bruising. I appreciate it can easily happen, but it does of course cut down on the expected 'life span' of keeping the apples around. They didn't go to waste as I cooked them down with butter and cinnamon for breakfasts, etc. but I will probably keep apples to something I buy in the shops instead, as the same happened with the other bag I bought.
