Handy dusting tool
I use my handheld vacuum cleaner or the hose part of my upright to hold the duster part and hoover off the collected dust and cobwebs, which cleans it all off before I wash it in cold water.
Quickly becomes matted
This duster is a great idea in theory, easily accesses hard to reach places and lightweight. But it quickly becomes matted and there is little you can do to resolve this issue.
Brilliant!
Bought this a while ago and it’s proved invaluable. Easy to extend, fold, shorten and stores in my cleaning bucket with ease. Fibres pick up everything in even the hardest to reach places. Easy to wash and wring out, too. Very clever, adaptable design, top marks from me!
Strong and sturdy
Strong, good reach and locks solidly into various angles and lengths. The microfibre is a bit fluffier than expected though.
Design flaw
When the duster head is adjusted to right angles (flat) for cleaning ceilings the pivot mechanism stands proud of the duster so is obviously going to rub and scratch the ceiling. This is a major design fault rendering the tool unfit for purpose. We have a hand held version which we have had for a few years which we are still using and are very happy with with but would not recommend the extendible version. Also noticed the duster itself is thinner and flimsier than the original orange duster that we have so can’t speak for the new version of the hand held either. The old one has been washed several times and is still doing a grand job but the new refill… time will tell but not expecting it to perform as well. The lowering of quality of the duster head is typical of companies cheapening the product to make more profit as is sadly the trend these days with many things.
Doesn't wash well
Sadly, this item doesn't clean well. the fibres become matted with dust/cobwebs and then you can't clean them off. So the fibres are matted forever. Would definitely not recommend this item.
