change in product
Biscuits brought recently are far less absorbent than ones I have had in the past. For the same amount of milk I would have to use double the number of biscuits - otherwise it ends up like soup. Have the manufacturers changed the density of the biscuits? Makes it very poor value for money. And Im finding them over sweet now.
Weetabix replacement for Celiacs!
My husband is a celiac and loves these! He says its like having Weetabix again. Admittedly they are very small and crumbly but with plenty of milk and a chopped banana he said they make a great cereal. Theyre also rated as Excellent on the Yuka App.
Tasty, replacement for wheat cereal biscuits
I enjoy these regularly, good to see that they are virtually all sorghum and not full of sugar as many other cereals seem to be. The texture and taste is very nice and they are filling too.
a good substitute
I used to love Wheatabix- so was pleased to find a GF substitute- I use Alot of Milk + xylitol sweetener - they need alot of softening - but I love the texture once submerged in milk.
love them
Crumbling into bowl first makes them a lot less dry when milk added.
Tasty, healthy cereal which is also gluten free
Im really enjoying this tasty cereal with good texture. As a massive bonus, it has no additives to the Sorghum, other than B vitamins and golden syrup. Sugar content is 2.5g per 100g, very different from other cereals packed with nutrient-free fillers. Mesa Sunrise has 13g sugar per 100g.
