So impressed!
Decided to start giving my fussy 2year old an omega 3 supplement. I was a bit worried when I tried this as there is a definite hint of fishiness under the lemon flavour. To start within added to his juice but in the end gave on a spoon at breakfast after his multivitamin and what do you know, he loves it!! So pleased!
taste fine
Not delicious but my daughter will take it off a spoon without issue
Foul taste and smell
Far from discrete. my baby will eat food with it on but it’s so vile i feel guilty giving it to him. i don’t understand why the vegan/algae based type is not more widely available. i buy it in capsules but i need a liquid form to give to my baby. it’s not fishy! surely no one enjoys this stuff.. and it’s obviously an animal product. can we get some vegan DHA for children in please!
Exactly what was recommended
Consultant recommended fish oils for my daughter to take when getting recurrent styes. Been using on all 4 of my children for last 3 years (the bottle version as they have got bigger) all take happily off a spoon. Very mild taste.
Works for us
I wonder if the previous reviewer had an "off" batch. I have tried this neat on a spoon and it has a very, very faint taste of fish and lemon, as you’d expect. It doesn’t affect the taste of a smoothie or juice when mixed in. I’ve been giving this to my 2-year-old twin girls in a smoothie every morning for months without problems - they love and down it. And I like the fact that this is a pure and natural product.
Bad taste
I bought these for my 2 year old. The taste is repulsive. It even made a smoothie taste bad. They won't be suitable for most children. My son likes lemon otherwise. We use multivitamin and they are fine.
