FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER
Natoora Italian White Asparagus
- Outdoor grown White Asparagus from third generation growers the Boin family in Veneto
- Incredibly tender and mildly sweeter than Green Asparagus – a result of their lightless, forced growing method.
- Stalks are covered under carefully weighted mounds of earth, blocking out light to hinder chlorophyll production and produce totally white stalks.
- Once the ground reaches between 13° - 15°C, they uncover the asparagus, hand-picking each spear for quality.
- To prepare before cooking, trim off the woody base and lightly peel away one layer of the entire stalk.
Take it further
- Poach or steam and serve warm with cured ham.
- Roast and serve with beurre monté and seasonal herbs.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food

- We work direct with growers who value flavour, biodiversity and heritage over yield.
- We give them the support they need to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet.

the amount you get is tiny
Unbelievable rip\-off
We've just had these delivered. You get 3 per packet. That's £2.50 PER ASPARAGUS SPEER. That's just crazy.
expensive and woody
Not worth the money
taste?

broken and woody
not good - hard to get white asparagus - don't bother with this, no good at all and v expensive
Awful quality
Ordered these as a treat given white asparagus are in season. They tasted awful, but not just that, they were broken, very few had tips and they were extremely woody. Extremely poor quality at a ridiculous price - shame on Anatolia and Ocado for offering such inferior quality produce. I do not recommend at all.
