Clean the growing containers thoroughly before re-use (they are

Needs compost
I followed the directions carefully and nothing grew. BUT I had seeds leftover and tried again with some compost in the trays. All 3 are growing. So I recommend this IF you have a small amount of compost to hand.
fantastic
I'm the worst gardener in the world and even I managed to get these to grow, followed instructions exactly and sp far so good, all sprouting
Waste of money
Seeds don't sprout even following instructions
Waste of time and money
I bought three of these when they were on offer and gave one to my Brother. Despite following the instructions, neither of us got a single seed to grow. I suspect the instructions are wrong. I didn't buy these kits because I wanted to research elsewhere how to sprout seeds and apply a different method, I bought them as an easy, 'one-stop' solution, which they apparently are not.
So good!
The instructions are the most basic ever so, for example... you really need to soak hard shell seeds like coriander for a day or two beforehand ... but after trying different ways of growing micro-greens for years, I now have two of these kits and an easy constant source of micro-greens! Perfect!
rubbish
Didn't work. Followed instructions to the letter 4 times and nothing grew! I'm sure it would work with soil but kitchen roll: not so much!
