Must have for sauces and gravies .
This was a substitute for Cinzano which I was sent for a review. As it happens this Rosso is a regular purchase but I have never drank it but use it entirely for making sauces and gravies. It adds a complexity you wont get when using red wine and we use Noily Prat for white sauces.
Negroni ingredient
Goes well in my negroni
I like it
The overtones of herbs are what I like about this, and it is my preferred alternative to sherry; buy when on offer and drink neat in small quantities!
Not keen on this - too medicinal for my tastes
I was sent this to review, I had it with some tonic water and ice cubes. It was very herby and medicinal tasting. I have never drunk it before. Probably try a different combination next time.
Fruity, refreshing drink
I was sent this to review. I enjoyed this with tonic water and ice and thought it was a nice, fruity, refreshing drink.
Also tasty neat!
I received this to review. I didn't have any tonic in the house but decided to have a small glass without anything in. Was lovely to sip on, rather sweet, but I haven't had vermouth before so can't compare it to anything. Went well with a bit of goats cheese.
