Good addition
Partner enjoys this as part of the meal deal, decent amount of beef mild and subtle flavour which is perfect for his taste buds. I am a green or red curry girl!
Pretty decent
Bought this as part of a bundle with a chicken green curry. This was by far the nicest. Subtle flavours, but the beef was cooked really nicely.
Meh
Nothing special. Not offensive, but I wouldn't buy it again. Very watery.
Tasty
first time I've tried this and it was delicious. The beef was very tender and there was plenty of it and the consistency was good aswell. I'd definitely recommend.
More like Madras than Massaman
Too spicy for me, but those that like a bit of spice then probably very nice and rich.
Not Impressed
I've wanted to try a Massaman curry for a long time but never had the opportunity before. Ok, so this is just a supermarket ready meal and I should have tempered my expectations somewhat but even so this is a bit lacking in both quality and flavour. The potatoes were hard and almost uncooked which is exactly the same problem that another of their meals suffered from, namely the prawn and potato curry that has been discontinued for a while now ( I can't remember the name but it was a thai dish ). In their favour the beef itself was nice and tender but the Massaman sauce was, to my palate, just a bit bland. Perhaps they think that they have to cater to British tastebuds when presenting "foreign" food to us. Well I've got news for them, we have been enjoying foreign food for a VERY long time now both here and abroad. Don't water down the flavour please, we are not toddlers.
