Refreshing
Really nice refreshing smoothie mix
Quick and easy
I bought these to be able to quickly and easily make yummy smoothies for my son and I. I really like the convenience of the fruit already being portioned and blitzed it straight out the freezer with coconut water - we love them!
Rock hard pineapple
Too many rock-hard pineapple pieces which indicates they are cut from too close to the surface rather than from the centre.
Very expensive
Bought on the five for ten pounds offer, so cost two pounds, I still felt it was expensive at fifty pence per small sachet of what seems like mainly pineapple. No visible sign of passion fruit, which was the ingredient that I bought this for. Not sure I'd buy again, even on the current offer that means it's two pounds rather than four pounds ninety. I think the full price is way too expensive for what you get, so would never buy it at full price.
5 stars for package\/format, 3 stars for the fruit
I love the individual portions, so convenient! Plus, since Ocado usually delivers frozen fruit like cherries/mangoes as a soggy mush, & often leaking, the fact these are contained is brilliant! However, it’s mostly pineapple, which is my least preferred. Supposedly it’s 39% of each mango & pineapple, but mine certainly weren’t. The pineapple was very tough and stringy, too. As for the “22% passionfruit,” I couldn’t detect any hint of it, unfortunately :(
Overpriced.
These do taste very nice but I was expecting an instant smoothie, I didnt realise I would also have to provide apple juice or coconut water to make the smoothie! So expensive for what is essentially 4 sachets of frozen fruit.
