Squashy, soft but not ripe
Found these mangoes to be totally under-ripe. Really pale yellow and insipid looking inside - and definitely not sweet. Had to throw 1 and a half away.
Hard and tasteless
I have bought these a couple of times and will never do so again. They never get properly ripe, they remain hard and tasteless. My local grocery has really nice, large mangoes, sweet and juicy, so why can't Ocado source good ones?
Awful \- avoid
bought 2 packs, same issue with both. Mangos come hard as rock. Even after leaving them to ripen for a week, the fruit is never flavourful or sweet.
Good but could be better
Happy with these but need to be kept in the fridge otherwise theyll go off quickly as arrived fully ripe.
Somebody\x27s telling porkies.
These "Tender Perfectly Ripened" mangoes are neither tender nor perfectly ripened. Hardness wise they have more in common with a cannon ball. They have absolutely no give in them whatsoever. Regarding ripeness they should still be on the tree. Not recommended.
Usually bruised and poor taste
I’ve had to order these a handful of times now as substitutions for the M&S mangoes. These are always bruised so I have to cut large chunks out, have a poor texture as quite dry, and also don’t taste particularly sweet either. Personally think no mangoes is better than these ones.
