This very elegant Chablis is bursting with white flowers and stone fruits aromas. Round and subtle on the palate, this wine has a long finish with a stony character and a fresh acidity that leaves you wanting more.
History
Louis Jadot was established in Beaune by Louis Henri Denis Jadot in 1859. Over a century and a half later, they now produce wines from over 150 appellations - from Beaujolais-Villages to Le Montrachet. In recent years Louis Jadot has moved towards a more organic style of viticulture and a viticultural philosophy of minimal intervention.

The grapes come from different vineyards within the Chablis appellation, planted on limestone soils.

Vinification Details
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to retain the crisp freshness of this white wine and then the wine is aged on its fine lees to add some richness.

disappointing

I usually love Louis Jadot wines, which are mostly refined and typical. This wasnt quite up to scratch unfortunately, just a bit fruity and bland. My husband finished it.

well balanced and smooth

Very light butter, cant taste oak, smooth and well balanced. A great dinner wine. £20 is a bit steep but a quality choice

Overpriced, but solid

It's a decent, uncomplicated Chablis, but one can do better at less than £15

Well enough made but not distinctive

Perfectly OK, but not outstanding. Quite smooth, but rather short on that sharp minerality that so distinguishes really good Chablis. Not really good value even when on offer, but a well made wine all the same.

This is exactly the kind of white wine i love. Its crisp and very dry. An absolute pleasure to sip on a hot summers day. Wonderful.
