well balanced blend

There is some taste of bitterness, but it is well balanced and quite mild, with a lovely hint of fruit. Very easy on the tongue.

Fantastic coffee

Lovely flavour, a bit milder than some of the stronger pods but still lovely dark and bitter. One of my favourites

May not work in your machine

We have used Modo Mio machines for years and years and have been waiting for the compostible pods to arrive for ages. Sadly they don't work consistently / at all in our Idola machine (less than a year old). You'll see lots of reviews on tesco.com saying the same. They seem to fail to puncture so you get the low water light.

Only one star because

These are very expensive and not my usual choice of pods. You havent had them since Christmas. No alternative is offered. I knew when I bought my machine that Ocado stocked the pods, now it seems you are phasing them out. We use the pods on a daily basis so this is very disappointing. What is happening at Ocado? Im noticing lots of quality items disappearing. Sadly, Waitrose dont deliver in my area otherwise Id simply change my shopping choices.

Really lovely

We do have a Lavazza machine so we tried these as they are meant to be tried and it’s a really nice cup of coffee. Fruity but not citrus-ey and not too bitter. It also doesn’t give you a headache if you have several cups, probably because it’s organic so you aren’t getting the pesticides, etc that you may get with others. We will keep buying it.

not nespresso machine compatible

Realised after buying these that they wont fit into a nespresso machine disappointing! Wish I had read these reviews first.
