shame about the method

This is the best decaf I have tried, but sadly Lor doesnt use the water method, so I shant buy again.

Excellent

I buy the LOR Onyx for myself, these were for someone else. I did try one as an espresso & I would never have known that it was decaf. Excellent.

Superior aroma and taste

These capsules produce the best decaffeinated coffee I've had in quite some time. Aromatic and with a rich flavour with no nasty aftertaste. Recommended.

Don’t fit machine properly

The coffee is fine, but the capsules are not! They have a ribbed side that causes some of the water to bypass the capsule and run into the drip tray. This doesn’t happen with Lavazza or Carte Noire capsules that are the right shape.

Our favourite decaf by miles

We were gutted when Nespresso discontinued their Decaf Intenso. We tried all the new Nespresso decaf replacements but this one from L'OR is now the only decaf pod that we buy. In a blind test most people would struggle to identify this as decaf! Taste is consistently excellent and we've never yet had a malfunction with a L'OR aluminium pod. Easy 5 stars.
