This salad dish originated in Hawaii and is traditionally comprises raw fish, colourful vegetables and a fresh and vibrant sauce. Now Kikkoman has made it even easier to recreate with an authentic ready-made dressing.
Rich and savoury, Kikkoman Poke Sauce is made from a base of Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce, fragrant toasted sesame oil, a hint of lemon juice and a dash of spicy chilli. No artificial additives are used whatsoever.
To prepare the perfect Hawaiian poke bowl at home simply select a variety of fresh salad vegetables, cubed raw fish (or cooked seafood, chicken or tofu), arrange over a bed of rice and drizzle over Kikkoman Poke Sauce straight from the bottle. This sauce is also ideal as a dressing for noodles, rice, other types salads and as a dip.
Zero fat and just 27 kcals per tablespoon.

Seared Tuna Poke Bowl
serves 4
Prep time: 15 mins Cooking time: 5 mins
Ingredients
150 g red cabbage
2 carrots
2 small avocados
2 spring onions
1 red onion
200 g fresh tuna
2 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
200 g cooked rice
1 lemon
4 tsp. Kikkoman Poke Sauce
2 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Kikkoman Seasoning for Sushi Rice
Method
Wash, trim and peel the vegetables. Cut the tuna into 1 cm cubes. Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a pan. Add the tuna and stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, add half of the sesame seeds and combine.
Mix the rice with the Seasoning for Sushi Rice and divide among 4 bowls. Place the vegetables and the tuna on top. Garnish with grated lemon zest and the remaining sesame seeds.
Combine Kikkoman Poke Sauce with 4 tsp olive oil, the remaining sesame oil and the lemon juice. Use as a dressing for the salad.

Great accompaniment
Used with gyoza and also poke. Lovely flavour, not too thick.

So so tasty. Its a good consistency so coats whatever your dipping into it. Its flavour full and I buy it on a very regular basis. Give it a go.
Good poke sauce
Made poke bowl with sushi grade salmon. Used this sauce and came out very well however not exactly a healthy sauce,look at the ingredients!
