What's so Good About...?
Quinoa has been a staple food in South America for thousands of years and has the highest protein content of all wholegrains, so it's perfect for vegetarians. Tastes great on its own with a dash of olive oil, lemon and sea salt or served alongside cheese and grilled vegetable dishes.

Great quick meal
Really useful to have in stock to make a quick dish. I usually add courgette, tomato, feta and any other veg I have in the fridge.
Abysmal - trade descriptions!
Like others hav person said this is NOT quinoa even though it says in massive writing. It's cheap horrible chewy wheat with a smattering of quinoa. Absolutely horrible and how they can get away with it beyond me.
A perfect base
Works really well as a base, nourishing and fairly neutral. I added a sharp feta, avocado, fresh chopped tomatoes and fresh herbs. Bingo!
Should Say Wheat in Big Letters not Quinoa
This should say Packet of Wheat with a bit of quinoa and rice. Not happy as at first glance I thought myself and my son could eat this, but we're both wheat intolerant (I get digestive problems and 'reactive arthritis', he gets eczema and digestive problems if we eat wheat) There's nearly double the amount of wheat than quinoa so calling it quinoa is kind of false advertising don't you think? Oh well, at least it doesn't contain sugar because Jamie hates that...Oh wait! It does! Husband ate it and said it was ok mixed with a tin of tomatoes and a poached egg but expensive for what is mostly precooked wheat. He'd rather not have sugar added to his savoury foods either though. Not healthy, not necessary.
I like this.
It's quick and easy and goes well with feta crumbled over it and some salad . I like the combination of rice wheat and quinoa and the fact iy's not as unhealthy as many other ready meals.
Read the ingredient list before buying.
Sorry Jamie, but this product is disappointing. As others have said, little flavour of olive or tomato and 42% wheat. Quinoa is a poor second on the ingredient list so how can it be labelled Quinoa? Our packet also had many lumps which needed breaking down with a fork before eating. There are better choices out there.
