Hiver specialises in honey beer and uses only British ingredients and suppliers to produce our craft beers. For this brown ale we ferment raw blossom and heather honeys to complement and add depth to darker roasted malts. A light hop bitterness finishes a flavoursome and unpasteurised brown ale. Honey and beer, what's not to love?
You'll learn about our work supporting British bees and how we make this award winning, fresh and natural amber beer, brewed with a touch of honey.

Love this quality beer
Copper coloured, rich and complex, this beer is completely delicious and to be savoured, I'm a big fan of honey and the honey flavour in this beer is subtle. I love the Hiver sustainable range of beers. This is one of my favourites.
Nice sweetness
I received this as a free gift and enjoyed it. Light amber ale with a slight sweetness.
Drive & help save bees!!
Great sustainability led product. I was surprised how refreshing it was and Im going to stock it as a great talking point to serve at parties!
Smoothe
I am reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is a very smoothe, easy to drink beer. You can definitely taste the honey.
Average
Started drinking this at delivery truck temperature. Nose quite malty - almost smells like unfermented wort (homebrewers will know what I mean) with honey notes. As the beer warmed this became overwhelmingly honey on the nose. Initial taste is malty - then the sweetness of the honey comes though. Aftertaste started as slightly metallic and, again, a bit 'worty'. As the beer warmed up this went away, and I was left with a lingering honey sweetness that was far more pleasant. Personally, I wouldn't chill this beer if I had it again. Overall, an average beer saved by excellent aromatics that are lost when chilled. A 4* beer if you like drinking room temperature beer (I do) but less so - 2* - if you prefer a cold one.
