Instantly recognisable by its unique suitcase label, our Rioja invites you to travel the world, using taste as your guide. Produced by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao in northern Spain, this spicy, fruity red allows you to discover the enduring charms of Rioja, an area steeped in wine-making legend.
This delicious wine has been skilfully crafted using grapes grown on the high altitude vineyards in Rioja. A classic blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha, this seductive red is made in the traditional method and cellared at the Bodega to produce a wine of exceptional finesse and complexity.
Intensely coloured, this wine displays inviting notes of dark cherry and spice supported by supple, silky tannins that will allow cellaring for up to 5 years. This tempting red is delicious on its own or paired with a variety of grilled and roasted meats, while also a perfect companion to a selection of mild cheeses.

This is not my idea of Rioja
It's weak, no oak, and tastes like a cheap Merlot or some such.
Smooth and rich but quite pricey
I was lucky to be sent this wine in exchange for a review. I like Rioja and found this one very pleasant - smooth and rich. However, I would not normally pay this much for a bottle of wine. The packaging looks elegant, and this would make a lovely gift.
Good wine but...
This is a nice Rioja, but I'm not sure it's any better than quite a few less expensive wines. Are we paying for the Harvey Nichols name?
Nice wine but not worth the price
Agree with the previous reviews the wine is fine but not worth the price.
Not bad but too expensive
I was given this to review and shared it with my hubby who didn't really enjoy it as he found it too oakey. I quite liked the taste but dont think its worth the price as I've had far nicer red wine at a much cheaper price.I wouldn't buy it for this reason.
Bit pricey
A friend drank this as Im not too keen on red wine. She said it was an average red, okay but not very smooth. Wouldnt buy at full price.
