Garofalo Spaghettini Pasta 500g

£2.6040p per 100gProduct information
Premium Italian pasta maker Garofalo has been making high quality pasta since 1789 in Gragnano near Naples, the birth place of pasta in Italy.
Garofalo has always been a reference point for the high quality of its product and production processes, made now even more effective thanks to the combination of technology and century long artisan know how.
Pasta is simply made with water and durum wheat semolina and you can't produce excellent pasta if the best wheat is not used. It is the quality and quantity of gluten present primarily that determines the quality of the wheat. Garofalo uses only high quality robust durum wheat in its signature pasta ranges.
Garofalo pasta is formed through a bronze die this method allows a little friction on the surface of the pasta, which becomes slightly rough and porous allowing the sauce to cling and be absorbed into the pasta giving a delightful eating experience!

Its spaghetti
Its spaghetti. Didn't notice any difference to any other packet dried brand. It cooks a little quicker perhaps but that's about it. Not a patch on fresh pasta.
Perfect!
We love the texture and flavour. The best! A favourite with my children!
So so good
It works perfectly with the seafood sauce I’ve made but honestly, it’s good just with ricotta and salt and pepper. Try it on its own too and you can really taste the difference!
The Best
Honestly the best pasta I've ever had with bolognaise. Thinner than regular spaghetti. Worth the price difference
Love it
So, I love garofalo pasta anyway and this spaghettini, 6 mins to cook, perfect on a work night and it's like spaghetti but lighter, totally love it, would always wait for it to be on offer though
FAB!
I used to buy this brand of pasta when I lived in Italy. It is still a favourite. Garofalo spaghettini with seared M&S wild Atlantic scallops...tossed in a light sauce of reduced white wine, olive oil, butter, sauteed shallots, garlic and parsley... a drizzle of Filippo Berio chilli extra virgin olive oil for a little kick... accompanied with Picard’s mini French baguette made with type 65 Label Rouge wheat flour – amazingness... paired with – M&S Petit Chablis... looking forward to my next pasta recipe!
