Italian pasta maker Garofalo has been making high quality pasta since 1789 in Gragnano, the birthplace of pasta in Italy. Making handcrafted pasta for Garofalo does not mean having out dated machines or producing product by hand, but knowledge, modern technology and a sound philosophy of production. Garofalo carefully control every single aspect of the process until the final result is what they consider the absolute best pasta.
Of all the Garofalo short cut pasta Fusilli are the most popular in the UK. The spiral shaped design of fusilli makes them perfect for holding chunky sauces, from rich meaty sauces to the simplest of tomato sauce. The fusilli shape is very versatile and works well in a fresh pasta salad. Fusilli originates in central south Italy with the word fusilli coming from the Italian fuso meaning spindle. They were originally created from the idea of rolling spaghetti around a knitting needle.

Super
Wonderful tasting pasta, high quality
Graet pasta
Great pasta not stodgy.
Delicious well made pasta
I understand why people pay extra for dried pasta now. This is genuinely a step above the cheaper brands. Good bite, sauce actually does stick better, not a bad price when on sale.
Delicious!
I've been eating Waitrose organic fusilli for years. Tried this for the first time todaymiles better. It's meatier and fuller, lovely taste. Wish I'd bought it years ago. Better late than never. I only switched because Waitrose underfill their bags.
converted
Perhaps harking back to my student days but I have always bought cheap dried pasta as I was of the mindset how different can the posh stuff be? Having got this as a free sample I can say I'm converted. It cooked beautifully and even my fussy toddler scoffed a big bowl full. Held the sauce really well. Will be stocking up when it's on offer!
A really excellent pasta
Great product, chewy and held its shape, thought it was excellent. Not cheap but if you want a better than average pasta this was excellent.
