Premium Italian pasta maker Garofalo has been making high quality pasta since 1789 in Gragnano near Naples, the birth place of pasta in Italy.
Garofalo has always been a reference point for the high quality of its product and production processes, made now even more effective thanks to the combination of technology and century long artisan know how.
Pasta is simply made with water and durum wheat semolina and you can't produce excellent pasta if the best wheat is not used. It is the quality and quantity of gluten present primarily that determines the quality of the wheat. Garofalo uses only high quality robust durum wheat in its signature pasta ranges.
Garofalo pasta is formed through a bronze die this method allows a little friction on the surface of the pasta, which becomes slightly rough and porous allowing the sauce to cling and be absorbed into the pasta giving a delightful eating experience!
Suitable for vegetarians
Instructions

loved this
My family hated it, I loved it, so 4 stars from me. Takes a while to cook though
Tastless
And fall apart easily
Generously sized Fussiloni
We now only buy this brand. This Fusillon has great size and has a generous bite to them. Sometimes we cook it 1 minute longer when craving a bit softer meal. Perfectly accompanies ragus, and pasta sauces, amazing for a different version of cheesy macaroni.
great option and feels so decadent
I love trying different pastas, we usually have wholemeal but gave this a try following a show with Nigella Lawson where she used it. Gives such a nice bite, just remember it takes a bit on her to cook
Great taste but 13 minutes to cook is too long
Happy to stick with the smaller fusilli
good for babies
My family loves this brand and recent discovered this variety which is the same as fusilli but larger. It is particularly good for our baby finds the pieces easier to hold in his fist than smaller fusilli pieces.
