Gone off by sell by date
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering this mince. Went to use it today (still in date) and it had gone brown, stupidly did the sniff test and it was rancid. Need a zero star option!
expensive at full price
I wish there was a reasonably priced Halal mince available , I wait till flash sale then buy in bulk due to necessity. Its fine for spaghetti Bolognaise, lasagne , cottage pie etc but for its full price its stringy and fatty so bad value for what should be a kitchen staple .
brown before bbe
Arrived usual red, and within a day had gone completely brown. The quality of the meat from this company is mediocre if not worse so I'm really surprised they continue to be stocked by Ocado.
brown and smelly
Meat was brown inside the packet and smelled off, refund requested
Disappointed!
I deserved 0 stars really I attempted to use it the next day of delivery and it smelled bad, unfortunately, was binned straight away. Ill keep going to the local butcher instead.
Excellent.
Excellent, good quality meat, no gristle or odd bits, just the right amount of fat to make great tasting bolognese, but not too fatty, not greasy or heavy when prepared.
