Flahavan's Organic Porridge Oats 1kg
Product information
Creating that taste starts with sourcing the finest quality oats. Our mill, situated in a small village in Waterford, has been an independent family business for over 200 years. We use milling techniques handed down over the generations to create perfect porridge oats.
A delicious, creamy breakfast
At harvest time we take in our new season's oats, drying and storing them with special care for the year ahead. Our unique way of milling gives our oats their natural, wholesome texture and flavour. The result is a warm, nourishing bowl of Flahavan's - a delicious breakfast with a creamy taste that we hope you will enjoy.
This is why we're Ireland's favourite porridge oats.
Organically grown oats
At Flahavan's, we always strive to source high quality, locally grown Irish organic oats. However, there is occasionally a shortfall in the supply of Irish organic oats. For this reason, from time to time we may have to source our oats from certified organic growers in neighbouring countries. Rest assured, the quality of our organic porridge oats is never compromised.

At Flahavan's, we take an environmentally friendly approach to the production of our products, using sustainable natural resources to power our mill. recent packet oats poorer quality
These have always been excellent for porridge but in recent purchase oats have changed . They are still hard after same time cooking in microwave and also boiled over which never used to in same bowl
The Best Oats
After reading reviews I thought I'd give these a try. I'm not disappointed. They are delicious. Good in both overnight oats and porridge. I'll only buy these from now on.
best porridge
These oats make lovely creamy porridge.
Overnight Oats
Excellent, consistent product. I place 50g in a bowl, sprinkle of cinnamon, 100ml milk, top with selection of frozen berries, leave overnight. For breakfast, top with yogurt and nuts, sooo good!
Thick and Creamy. The BEST!
These are by far the BEST oats I have ever had in my entire life, and my taste buds are a sensitive fussy lot. I do not even make with milk, just plain distilled water yet so thick and creamy. I have always found porridge very difficult to get down, but this is now my favourite meal of the day. And as I understand it these are glyphosate free too.
best porridge
Third of a cup of oats, two thirds of a cup of milk microwave for two mins equals perfect porridge I love it with some Greek yoghurt, fruit and a drizzle of honey. My go to breakfast.
