Very peculiar flavour!
I love mackerel and thought I would treat myself - given the extortionate price I thought it would be delicious but sadly not to my tasting. This had such an odd flavour! I never throw food away but sadly this is where this ended up.
Nice but too expensive now
Tasty mackerel, chunky and enough for two people. However would not buy this again due to the huge price increase.

Very expensive and very delicious
Delicious and best of all it is sustainably fished - with organic ingredients added. It's too expensive for me to have except as an occasional treat but I am looking forward to ordering it again. I had - the whole jar - with just brown bread on the side. It was a lovely lunch.
Great base for a meal
An instant meal that can be enhanced with pasta, rice, or pulses. It can be difficult to find mackerel that isnt smoked. I like smoked mackerel but it shouldnt be consumed too often for health reasons making this is a superb alternative.
