Bertie Approved
I added this hay to my shop as I couldnt get out to the pet shop and was about to run out of hay. When I opened the bag (which is resealable) I was hit by a lovely sweet smelling hay. I grabbed a handful and knew immediately Bertie our bunny would enjoy this hay. Its lovely green hay full of seed heads. I put the hay in Berties house and immediately she started munching. I will not buy any other hay now, this may be expensive, but its quality is amazing.
No dust!!!!!
I was dying of allergies with all the other hays I've used for my bunny. Bought this on a whim and omg, NO DUST!! Bonus point, my bunny loves it
Expensive but brilliant
Our very choosy guinea pigs love this stuff. Expensive but great as a treat alongside regular hay. A good alternative to alfafa - which they also love but makes them fat!
so many seed heads they love it!
My guinea pigs are so into this hay that they eat it faster than every other kind Ive given them. It has loads of fuzzy seed heads in it and they plunge their heads into it to pick them all out first.
Expensive but good stuff
Really nice hay that my guinea pigs seem to approve of. Quite coarse but they need that to keep their teeth healthy. I do think this is expensive really (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but I guess you get what you pay for
bunny approval
First of all I was looking for a dust extracted hay. We just got some rabbits after a 5 year gap and my pet human has now got allergic to the world. The poor hay from Pets at Home was making him ill. This seems better so far. Taste wise, our two shy Dutch rabbits tore into it with gusto, although they had plenty of the dusty stuff around them. While the separate pack of fancy taste combination hay got ignored, they definitely go for this. Im hoping that feeding on pellets and plentiful hay will reduce tooth issues. Grass has silica structures (basically sand) which grind down a grazers ever growing teeth. My previous rabbits (fed on muesli type mix) kept getting hooks on their molar teeth which could only be spotted by rigorously checking whether they were eating and cured with expensive operations. This gourmet hay stuff with the resealable bag has appeared since. You get roughly 2 standard carrier bags worth of uncompressed hay. Yum.
